Moving in day into our small apartment in london. hundreds of boxes are brought in marked Master bedroom. Crickey! I dint realise my husband and i had that much stuffed in our closest. Emptying them i realised i had more handbags than i knew.
From high street brands to popular brands to designer brands to never been used brands. Yet yesterday when i was walking down to tesco with my two tots in tow with my coach bag, i am thinking ‘dammit, i should have got the other one, its way more comfortable.’
If you are a mother, who works, travels with the kids and socialise, then i am sure your bag has more paraphernalia than you need. So here is what i did. Got home, put on Cars 2 (must write about this babysitter). And turned my handbag upside down on the bed. Here’s a list of what popped out:
Wallet, pens (yes plural), phone, toy phone (a pink and red one), action figures (again plural), hand cream, lip gloss, lip balm, diary, kids notebook, lollipop, lollipop stick wrapped in tissue (nauseating), two packs of tissue, wet wipes (god sent), colour pencils, broken comb (died without being used),letter from son’s school (something about lice), receipts, pack of crisps, water bottle, keys, more keys, pack of scented plastic bags! That’s all.
Looking fab carrying a sack, i dont think so! There has got to be a handbag out there, that could carry all this, is easy to use, comfortable and looks a million dollars!
Leaving you with a picture of my daughter digging in my longchamp, which reminds me, i also need a secret compartment in the handbag.:
